Not put off by the typical Bank Holiday weekend rain we headed off for a night on the town,
It was mind boggling trying to decide where to go, it's not normal to have such choice on a Saturday night in Dublin.
We briefly sampled the Masquerade Ball, part of the Gay and Lesbian Film Festival at the IFC, the boys wearing masks
scared us a bit so we headed off in search of boys without masks to scare us a bit.
Our riverdance thru the wet streets of Dublin led us to the Temple Bar Music Center, where the doors were just opening
for Tease Number Three.
Things got off to slow start but as the rain slowed down the venue filled up.
The club runs a caberet style night, complete with novelty dancers, singers and comedians.
The dancers on stage "Eddies Dancing Angels" really add to the party atmosphere, they stayed on stage from start to finish
while clubbers danced down below.
Busty Lycra, made a headlining reappearance, previously having performed at the second Tease, her mix of music and comedy
went down well with the crowd, especially her parody of 'I will survive'. Busty adopted an Irish accent for the night, it worked
quiet well, her other American accent is a lot tougher on the ears. The other act for the night was a singer from Cork who previously appeared in the final of ITV's popstars, her powerful
voice boomed around the venue with some popular gay anthems, altho' some of the younger crowd were anxiously waiting for the club tunes to begin again and they werent disapointed.
DJ Stephen J went for familiar sounds of current chart hits which went down really well.
Amazingly the mysterious bar at the Temple Bar Music Center ran out of several draft beers on the night, something that
has happened each time i've been there.
Also the stairs up and down to the toilets seemed like an odd location for a darkroom buts that what it was, the lighting had
gone a bit funny. Hopefuly the next time the owners at the music center go shopping they'll pick up some light bulbs and some
extra barrells of beer. Overall the night went well and was my favorite Tease event so far (apart from the rain), Eddie promised the club would return
in September - I'm already keeping my Saturdays free.
