RTE's new footie
soap. RTE announced a new soap earlier this month, it will be based on a GAA team - watching a bunch of
lads playing football has to be more exciting than watching farmers sell fruit and veg just
hope mary mcevoy doesnt get her washing powder endorsing nose into it. |

Gubu going gay - they got rid of their
pool table but to make up for it they got table football
and adopted a 'straight friendly' door policy.. definitly the classiest gay bar in town. |

The Imax cinema closing - Looking at fish swimming just isnt entertaining - no matter how big the screen is..
Judging by the Irish film center's current run of movies - The smaller the screen the better the film!! All you fish lovers will

Exits - I know they were never used but I always thought someday the bus drivers would start to open up their middle doors
I dont feel as safe on the new double deckers, if there was a crash i'de still rush towards the middle doors out of habit only
to find a window. Its a titanic sittuation just waiting to happen - Lets see how Kate and Leo would get on trying to escape from the 25A if it
ever began to sink. |

Mary Robinson Carpet - what bright carpet weaver decided that spinning a rug with Mary Robinson's face on it would be a good idea?
The carpet shop on Dame Street around from the George has this glorified welcome mat in their window for the past 4 years and no one has bought it.
It was even given a hefty discount last month in the winter sales but poor hairy mary is left in the window for another year - Mary McAleese must be
over joyed that her face hasnt yet been immortilised in hairy fabric - or maybe Des Kelly's already have their eye on her. |

Friends - yikes - whats gone wrong with series seven? How could the funniest show on TV be reduced to this?
The actors seem wooden - the script is stale - There was so much debate that the cast wouldnt return unless they got huge pay rises - it seems
Warner spent too much cash on the actors and not enough on the script writers |
