Wicklow's first gay meeting

"Amach Wicklow" is a new organisation for lesbian, gay and bisexual people, starting on Thursday, 15th February in the "Blue Room", upstairs in the Grand Hotel in Wicklow town.

Though the title of the organisation describes its Wicklow base, people from Dublin, Wexford and all other neighbouring counties (or further afield!) are more than welcome to attend.

One of the organisers Roy, is expecting a large turnout, "I have met some 'out' people in Wicklow town and I'm hoping for a reasonably good attendance. Depending on how successfully we get off the ground, we would hope to host workshops at the monthly meetings and maybe organise social events and a disco after a year or so.".
