The Meteor Ireland Music Awards will be
recorded for television and broadcast worldwide to 100 million people
over the festive weekend. The event will be broadcast nation-wide by
RTE on N2 on Sunday 18 March at 20:30hrs.

There are going to be a bunch of great performances from artists like
Sinead O'Connor, Ronan Keating & Elton John Duet, JJ72, Mark McCabe,
Morcheeba, David Gray, Ash, Gabrielle, Emmylou Harris and Robert
Plant, Jonathan Wilkes, Aslan, Atomic Kitten and Anastacia.

A host of Irish and international celebrities including Lisa
Stansfield, Damon Hill, Joe Elliot and Rick Savage from Def Leppard,
and movie star Matthew McConaughey, are just some of the stars set to
attend and entertain guests on that night.

AllIrelandMusic and MCD present the Meteor Ireland Music Awards on
Friday 16th March at Dublin's Point Depot honors the best in
homegrown and international talent. Proceeds from the event will go
to the AIDS Alliance and IRMA Trust.
